Sometimes it is nice to try something different and step out of your comfort zone. I like experimenting sometimes with makeup. It is such an easy thing to switch up and make an entirely new look utilizing all of your current makeup and tools (with a little improvisation). I recently decided to try out the cat eye look for a whimsical and fun new look for a night out on the town.
I love switching up my eye liner because it can be the easiest to experiment with and using the same makeup you already own. Yet, look, it makes such a big transformation and gives you an entirely new look! I generally start at the crease of my eyes and move away and slightly up. If you look closely, I just followed the natural crease at the end of my eye. I recommend trying it out once or twice on your own before going out to see what works best for you. It's easy to remove with makeup remover on the end of a q tip.

Swimsuit season is coming up soon. It has been getting warmer in Los Angeles. Patrick and I have already been to the beach (seen above). So when it is finally warm enough to lose the sweater and soak up some sun, I want to have an amazing swimsuit to show off. Here are the top three trends I am looking for this season.
Spring has sprung! I have been wanting to spend more and more time outside to soak up all the warm weather and sun, This past Friday, Patrick and I ate ramen for dinner and then stumbled into a poetry reading at the local bookstore. I have been loving these warmer Spring nights. And hopefully the warm weather keeps on coming. So in preparing for great sunny days, some of my favorite fabrics is linen, silky polyester, and seersucker.
This seersucker top is phenomenal. I recently found this adorable online boutique
XO MandySue. I first off love that it is a local Southern California shop. It offers casual clothing options that the everyday girl can wear. And I am excited to announce that I have partnered with XO MandySue and all of my readers (yes, that means you) gets 35% off your entire purchase. Just use the code WHITNEY35.
This white and pink wrap top has the cutest bow on the front. I paired it with these
Levi 711 white jeans to complete the whole look. And white denim really screams Spring to me! These are my first Levi jeans surprisingly. They fit very skinny and do not loosen over time which is a great thing. It's a good trade off to plain ole denim that I have been wearing all winter haha. |
