My parents recently got to come visit Patrick and I in Los Angeles, and we had such a blast. They have already done a lot of the standard touristy things so this trip we were able to branch out a bit. My mom had done some research before coming and insisted that we go on the Warner Bros Tour. I was a bit hesitant because I honestly thought it would be less than expected and a waste of money. Boy was I wrong!
Disclaimer, I am a huge Gilmore Girls and Friends fan so this is where I went nuts on the tour!
The tour started with being put into small groups with a tour guide and one extended golf cart to take you around. We pulled up into a small town setting where I immediately noticed the gazebo from Gilmore Girl's hometown, Stars Hollow. However, what I did not realize is that we were coming up on Bluebell from Hart of Dixie and Rosewood from Pretty Little Liars. All renown TV shows that I had never made the connection that they were technically all the same place. It was incredible to see how the WB team sets up for different scenes. I wore this mustard romper (last seen in this post) because it was breathable and easy to walk around on the tour. I paired the romper with these ultra comfortable platform wedges (last seen in this post) and jean jacket just in case it got chilly or windy.
Next up on the tour was to see The Geller house from Friends, Lorelai's, Sookie's, and the Kim's houses from Girlmore Girls, and the Tanner house from Fuller House. It was really cool and exciting to see your favorite TV shows and movies in real life. We then toured a sound studio set from the Big Bang Theory and saw some costumes used in Wonder Woman.
The last part of the tour was an interactive tour where you can experience being on set and how the casting and costumes process works. We got to sit on the couch in the set from Friends!! And did I mention that my dad and I got to "act" out a scene from Friends?! The tour exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend to anyone visiting LA to go! It is an interesting way to experience Hollywood.

Sometimes you just need a super casual and chill weekend. Patrick has been gone all week for a work trip, so this weekend we decided to take a visit to a flea market at Melrose Trading Post. I love going from booth to booth to see the antiques, paintings, jewelry, etc. And the weather was sunny and breezy.
I love transitioning to summer weather a trading my skinny jeans for a pair of boyfriend jeans. It is just too hot to have thick jean fabric skin tight lol. I have seriously had these Madewell boyfriend jeans (old, similar here) for years and love them. And to keep casual, I paired them with a simple stripe tee and these Steve Madden platform sandals that I have been living in the past month.
On our way to the flea market, I just couldn't pass this adorable emoji wall without snapping a few pictures. Living in LA, I still love a good wall. Comment below with only emojis to describe what you think about this post!

Paris is absolutely by far one of my favorite places! I love everything about the laid back culture that has cafe breaks at 3pm, picnics in the park (see my last post here), and getting lost on the cobblestone streets. But I would have to say seeing the Eiffel Tower at night was mesmerizing.
That afternoon we went to a local market to get meats, cheeses, french bread, olives, and wine to have another picnic on the lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower. I have seen many pictures of the Eiffel Tower, but seeing it in person is unreal. It is first off huge and you cannot help but stare! We just picked a spot on the grass and enjoyed the sunshine and kept staring up at it.
It was a bit warmer during the day and with a lot of walking so I decided to wear this denim mini skirt and a light brown sweater. For a bit extra warmth since it can get kind of chilly in late September, I threw on this yellow cardigan that I bought at a boutique in Paris. And of course my go to shoes when traveling is sneakers for ultimate comfort.
After the picnic we went to a nearby coffee shop, Kozy Bosquet, and enjoyed lattes and pastries. The must see of Paris and the Eiffle Tower is at night. Starting at sunset, every hour on the hour until 1 AM, the tower lights up. It is literally shimmering and gleaming for 5 or so minutes.
