location: Coachella, CA Meet our new daughter puppy, Finley. She has been a pure joy to rescue and we have loved getting to know her over the Thanksgiving break. Finely is a poodle mix and was rescued for a better life. Her hair was cut short to give her a fresh new start, and we have enjoyed watching her open up to become the sweet puppy she is. She is 2 years old and right now a bit underweight at 18 lbs. But we are hoping to fatten her up a bit to become a healthy poodle ;) She lasted the car ride home and her first two days went well. We have begun to see her open up to both of us and start to show some of her sweet and loving personality. We cannot wait to see what this sweetie pie becomes. After making it home with her, we immediately had to rush to buy all of the new doggie essentials. We needed everything.. a collar, harness, leash, bed, bowls, etc. And we were both so thankful to find everything we needed from the essentials from Petco and the fashionable pieces from Target. She has truly been a joy, and Patrick and I both cannot wait to see what our little family becomes. Welcome to the Marshall family, sweet Finley!

location: DTLA I just love when friends all gather around to eat and eat and eat. This Thanksgiving holiday, my husband and I out-did ourselves. We decided to cook an entire menu of traditional southern food ourselves. It was great to slave away in the kitchen for great company for our Los Angeles family. I loved displaying and decorating with all of our new stuff from the wedding. We decided to use all of our fancy kitchen gadgets, gorgeous dinnerware, and unique glassware to host a lavish Friendsgiving. I paired the purple and gold, watercolor patterned plate with gold accent thankful napkins, I also accented with marble and fresh fall colored flowers. Everything was a hit, and it was so nice to enjoy company from my dear friends while celebrating a caring and thoughtful holiday season. Thanks to everyone coming out to enjoy delicious dinner and company together!

Brunching in Los Angeles is the highlight of my weekends. It's such a fun time to get all dolled up and gossip with my girls. Finding the perfect outfit for an outdoor, casual patio at Market Provisions, the boushey Hudson, or the amazing rooftop at Perch is a must. It's fall season but still 70's in LA. So incorporating long sleeves and fall colors with warmer weather can be tough.
This long sleeve silky top is perfect for the Los Angeles "fall". This navy color is a year around neutral that I continue to be drawn too. The silhouette is flattering with a deep v and bow detail. I also love this one in the same color.
