I love a good sneaker because they are always the more comfortable option to wear when walking around and exploring or just being casual on a weekend morning. I especially love these new Nike Air Max sneakers because they are helping me get one step closer to eco friendly clothing and here is why. Plus they look adorable!!
I love that Nike has taken steps to reduce it's carbon footprint. These plant based dye Nike Sneakers are definitely a step in the right direction. And apart from the eco friendliness of these shoes, they look fantastic. I love the pastel colors fading like a rainbow swirl sunset with the terrycloth style material creating a softer more casual vibe.

I feel like more and more during the March and April months, I walk outside one day and its sunny, the next is raining, and the next is a freezing cold windy day. You feel me?! Picking out clothes with this ever changing weather can be difficult and frustrating. You need transitional pieces from cold to warm that are easy to layer like this velvet cami from Madewell.
I try to find transitional pieces that have a bit of spring yet still has some winter in them. If you are confused lol here is what I am talking about. This velvet cami is darker in color with a rich winter texture of velvet, yet it is a cami perfect for spring or layering under a jacket. I love the button details, it just adds some extra femininity to the outfit. I also recently posted this long sleeve top that has pastel stripes (post seen here) , that is also the perfect transitional piece.

I have learned this simple trick. This Valentine's day, I decided to take a classic outfit and add a pop of neon pink. I took a simple white blouse with high waist blue jeans and literally just added a little bit of color to make the whole outfit. It was the perfect fix.
I tied a knot at the bottom of this cute silky white blouse and paired it with my go-to high waist jeans from Madewell (last featured in this post). I wanted to add the cutest girly statement, so these bright pink heels were perfect. Adding a pop of color can be the easiest statement especially with shoes. If you do not know how to do color or always stick to simple clothes, shoes are your easiest option! I threw on this light pink leather jacket to fully complete the look.
I also decided to go crazy and live on the wild side and try a new hairstyle. This braided bun was edgy and super easy, trust me! Just separate the very bottom section of hair and then put the rest into a normal top knot. Then braid two sections from the bottom up and secure with another hair tie around the bun. Spray with Tresemme hair spray to keep the look in place all night long.
