It is becoming more and more a thing to wear your active wear clothes outside of the gym. With the sneaker trend being so big now, its perfectly acceptable and encouraged to rock your leggings, sweatshirts, and sneakers. I love throwing on comfortable athleisure wear for errands or just exploring downtown. Read along to find my tips on how to transition your outfit from workout class to lunch date or a run to target.
With athleisurewear, I think the most important thing is layering. Layer a jacket, pullover, or sweater over your normal leggings and tank to give that extra added chicness to your look. My C-clique sheer pull over that I found at a vintage store in Paris is the perfect piece to help bring my boring sports bra and leggings to a new level. I also encourage to mix up different materials. The key to chic activewear is to mix some of your standard pieces with different materials and everyday clothing. I love how the sheer material gives a bit of feminine vibes to this look. And lastly, it is important to have clean, quality pieces. Do not pull out old, sweat stained workout wear or ratty sneakers. Make sure that your pieces look nice and are quality material. This will really set the tone.

Since the weather has finally started cooling off (a little bit ha!), we have been trying to go on more family hikes with our dog. You will see how she loves hunting for animals and how worn out she gets haha. I love hiking or just strolling around the neighborhood to get my heart rate going. Here are some fitness favorites to inspire you to get outside and get moving.
Somehow when I find an outfit I really love, it encourages me to get out there and go. When my fitness wear makes me feel confident, I want to go on a hike, participate in yoga in the park, or just walk around my neighborhood. If you are like me though, workout wear gets thrown on the back burner and you never end up buying anything new! These basic colors of black and grey make matching easier and every new item you get can all mix and match to form new outfits to get excited about.
I have always been a fan of Nike workout gear and this crop top is no exception. It is flattering and easy to pair with leggings. Also, I am officially obsessed with Free People leggings. These are literally the softest leggings I HAVE EVER WORN! You must get a black or gray color to start building your fitness outfits. So get out there and soak up the fresh air. And as always look good as you are doing it! Comment below with your favorite outdoor activity that you cannot wait to do this weekend.

Moving to downtown Los Angeles, I find myself constantly on the move and a lot of additional walking, which is great! I can walk to the grocery store (yes I never take a car), local coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. So I have had to update my sneakers a bit. I have my classic Adidas (last seen here and here), but I wanted a sleeker, more athletic look and these blush Nike's are perfect!
I am very much obsessed with light colored and neutral tennis shoes. I want them to be able to match any outfit I am wearing whether it is athletic wear to a casual day outfit. So when I found these blush Nikes, I had to have them!
