This past weekend Patrick and I took full advantage and went to the Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art (LACMA). We have actually never been inside to see the exhibits even though this is the exact spot where Patrick proposed to me. You will never believe what pajamas item I decided to wear out in public and how chic and feminine it actually looked with the entire outfit.
This cute little silk cami is actually part of a Victoria Secret cami and shorts pajama set. It was the perfect top to wear underneath this blazer. Its feminine and delicate. Plus I have been on the lookout for a silk cami and all of the ones I try on seem to gape under my arms and do not fit right. This was the perfect fix! And an awesome way to just utilize what I already had at home.
Still obsessed with this blazer (last seen here)! And hello blazers are no longer a thing of the office. I loved layering it over this feminine top to create structure and give some bold pattern. Paired with my high waist Madewell jeans to keep the look casual and added these fun simple heels. So far they are super comfortable and easy to wear for long hours.
Starting off the new year and wanting to up your work wardrobe? Well I've got the perfect blouse that is not only great for work, but can easily be transitioned into drinks after work or an after hours happy hour. The trick to remember is that you can still look cute even in work clothes!
I love this WAYF blouse! It's a classic black color that can match with many colors and is very appropriate in an office setting. Pair a little black cami underneath if you need a bit more modesty. I think the reason I love this the most is it looks great in the office and out for drinks or a casual weekend paired with boyfriend jeans and heels. Buying versatile pieces for the office that you like to wear outside the office makes you actually want to wear it. Also these office skinny pants from Target are a must! They are medium, high waist and fit like a glove. This olive color is great because it pairs well with black and tan tops and still gives a pop of color to your outfit.

Two of the top fall and winter trends that I have been seeing recently are blazers and belt bags. Now this is an easy trend that I can jump on board with! Blazers add structure and definition to an outfit and can be dressed up or down depending on your mood, which I love. They are so versatile. And just fix your belt bag on the outside around your waist for a flattering look. Get ready because you are going to be seeing a lot more of these pieces this season.
Typically when I think of blazers, I automatically think of stiff, boring business wear. But this season, blazers are back and they are super casual. Start thinking of blazers as a jacket or cardigan that is an extra layer to add to your outfit. It adds chic touches and structure to a simple t-shirt and black jeans look. I chose this dark gray and black color because it tends to be a good neutral that will pretty much match all of my closet for fall and winter. But it also comes in solid black, dark brown, and light brown options.
I loved pairing this blazer with the oh so trendy belt bag. Yes a belt bag is just a modern trendy version of the much used fanny packs back in the day ha! I secured this at the middle of where your waist cinches to create the perfect hour glass shape with what can be a boxier shaped blazer. Warning!! When searching for a blazer, make sure to get one that fits properly. I tried on a few options before deciding on this Treasure & Bond blazer that were oversized and just plain unflattering. This belt bag holds all your essentials and leaves you hands free which is awesome if exploring or running errands. And I loved this belt bag from Forever 21 because it is under $18 so if you are on the fence about whether or not you like belt bags, its cheap enough to give it a try!
