I love going to Ulta for all of my beauty and hair needs. Ulta has almost every brand and option as well as affordable prices, which is super important for me. My natural hair is straight, but sometimes I need to use a flat iron to fully tame every piece and create a silky, shine look. This flat iron is super affordable and I have been using it for 5 years now (and have only gone through 2 of them).
Like I mentioned before, I have been using this flat iron for yearssss and have loved it. It heats up super fast and can go up to 455 degrees. But what I most love about the Conair Infiniti Pro Rainbow Titanium Flat Iron is that it releases heat fast so that I do not have to re-run strands of hair through multiple times and can move the iron quickly over the hair to get desired results. Also, the rainbow titanium material leaves my hair frizz free which is a must when trying to get a sleek and straight look.
To get the best sleek and straight results, I first spray Garnier Fructis Flat Iron Protection Spray on my wet hair to protect my hair from potential heat damage. Then, I make sure all of my hair is completely dry and brushed before flat ironing. I normally heat the iron to around 375 or so. I start from the front and work my way back, just picking up about a two inch wide strand of hair from the top layer. I do not straighten the bottom layers since this gives my hair a bit more volume and does not sit completely flat on my head and around my face. And as mentioned before, my hair is naturally pretty straight. When finished I hold all hair in place, including those pesky fly aways with Tresemme Hair Spray.
