With athleisurewear, I think the most important thing is layering. Layer a jacket, pullover, or sweater over your normal leggings and tank to give that extra added chicness to your look. My C-clique sheer pull over that I found at a vintage store in Paris is the perfect piece to help bring my boring sports bra and leggings to a new level. I also encourage to mix up different materials. The key to chic activewear is to mix some of your standard pieces with different materials and everyday clothing. I love how the sheer material gives a bit of feminine vibes to this look. And lastly, it is important to have clean, quality pieces. Do not pull out old, sweat stained workout wear or ratty sneakers. Make sure that your pieces look nice and are quality material. This will really set the tone.
