Outfit Details:
Sandro Dress (old, similar here) , Chinese Laundry Heels, Conair Bobby Pins, & Fossil Clutch (old, similar here)
Still cannot believe that I got the opportunity to attend the Los Angeles Fashion Week for all upcoming Spring & Summer 2019 collections!! Wow what an experience! So thankful to know the designer of the backdrop on the red carpet for last minute tickets to the event. I left LAFW feeling pretty inspired and excited about the new trends for next year.
I decided to go classic with this Sandro little black dress since honestly I had no clue what this event would entail. This simple black dress is a classic staple in my closet and I love to pull it out for semi formal events or a fun date night. I added a deep red platform heels and leopard clutch that I have been using as my go-to recently to add a pop to my outfit. And lastly I added these extra long bobby pins from Target to achieve a sleek, pulled back look.
Some of the trends that I expect to see in Spring & Summer 2019 after being inspired from the runway are bold, bright colors and unique textures and fabrics. Spring is moving away from pastels and into bright reds, oranges, and buttery yellows. I also am excited that draping sheer fabrics with lots of movement will be showing up. Keep your eyes out for next season! Check out myInstagram Story Highlights to see some of the looks I saw at LAFW.
Special thanks to Nanopuppet for the LAFW tickets and the amazing butterfly design.

A little black dress is always a good choice when you don't know the dress code for an event or party. The clutch and shoes really make a good statement with the dress. Looks like you had a great time at the fashion show.

A good simple black dress can be dressed up or down. The shoes and handbag made it more dressy for your occasion. Great look! Even Patrick looked handsome!
