Neutrals doesn't just mean blah brown. Neutrals are just a basic color pallet consisting of light and muted tones that complement each other well. Building your closet using neutrals as a foundation allows for more outfits and an easier way to wear your style. Ever wonder into your closet and stand there thinking, "I have absolutely nothing to wear" even though your clothes are busting out the closet doors? I caught myself saying this a lot and realized the reason I thought I had nothing to wear is because many of my pieces were one time statement pieces that had to be worn and accessorized a specific way. Or it was such an odd color that it was hard to pair it with anything else to make a different look. This ultimately hindered my options to mix and match with the rest of my wardrobe. I started last year to begin building my closet with neutral basics and the below neutral tons are what I chose to stick with. And of course, once you have a good neutral foundation of clothes, add some pop pieces (accessories are always a good option to shine).
