This past weekend, Patrick and I cut through an ally way as a short cut to brunch and stumbled across this painted brick wall, The weather is still a bit chilly in Los Angeles, so this midi pleated skirt paired with a leather jacket was perfect for an afternoon of brunching.
This pleated mini skirt is pretty much perfect for all occasions. I have worn it casually with a tshirt and sneakers, dressed up with a sweater and jacket shown here in this post, and even to work with a tucked in blouse. The pleats add extra volume without being an A-line skirt to flatter your body. And I love walking in this skirt because of the movement created.
I recently had to toss out my light cream leather jacket and it almost killed me to do so! I have had that jacket since freshman year of college :( But I knew I wanted to keep with the light creams or light pink colors since most of my outfits match lighter colors. I found this leather motto jacket at ASOS and am so far loving it. It compliments the flirty girly skirt with a bit of an edgy vibe.
I shared these mules in a previous day-to-day post, and I continue to wear them constantly. They are perfect for a blend between winter and spring. They appear to be booties and cover most of your feet, while exposing the back and complimenting in light spring colors. With the thick block heel, these mules are pretty sturdy and comfortable.
