My parents recently got to come visit Patrick and I in Los Angeles, and we had such a blast. They have already done a lot of the standard touristy things so this trip we were able to branch out a bit. My mom had done some research before coming and insisted that we go on the Warner Bros Tour. I was a bit hesitant because I honestly thought it would be less than expected and a waste of money. Boy was I wrong!
Disclaimer, I am a huge Gilmore Girls and Friends fan so this is where I went nuts on the tour!
The tour started with being put into small groups with a tour guide and one extended golf cart to take you around. We pulled up into a small town setting where I immediately noticed the gazebo from Gilmore Girl's hometown, Stars Hollow. However, what I did not realize is that we were coming up on Bluebell from Hart of Dixie and Rosewood from Pretty Little Liars. All renown TV shows that I had never made the connection that they were technically all the same place. It was incredible to see how the WB team sets up for different scenes. I wore this mustard romper (last seen in this post) because it was breathable and easy to walk around on the tour. I paired the romper with these ultra comfortable platform wedges (last seen in this post) and jean jacket just in case it got chilly or windy.
Next up on the tour was to see The Geller house from Friends, Lorelai's, Sookie's, and the Kim's houses from Girlmore Girls, and the Tanner house from Fuller House. It was really cool and exciting to see your favorite TV shows and movies in real life. We then toured a sound studio set from the Big Bang Theory and saw some costumes used in Wonder Woman.
The last part of the tour was an interactive tour where you can experience being on set and how the casting and costumes process works. We got to sit on the couch in the set from Friends!! And did I mention that my dad and I got to "act" out a scene from Friends?! The tour exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend to anyone visiting LA to go! It is an interesting way to experience Hollywood.
