Traveling outfits can be difficult to pick out. You want to be comfortable, cozy, and still look chic all at the same time. And not to mention that for longgg flights it could just be down right uncomfortable if you pick the wrong outfit to wear. No worries, I've got all the tricks to help you with your next long travel trip.
For longer flights, I like bottoms that are movable and let me put my legs up, crossed, stretched out, etc so that I can get the most comfortable on a flight as possible since let's face it can be pretty difficult. I tend to shy away from jeans or any structured pants and love going with leggings. Free People leggings have been the most comfortable that I have ever owned so far, and I love them!
I have been on really cold planes, and I have been sweating to death on planes. They are so unpredictable so here is how I adjust. I typically wear a short sleeve tee with a sweatshirt or coat over. If you are needing to wear a heavier jacket on the plane in order to make room when packing (as seen on this post), then plan on wearing the same tee and sweatshirt under your coat because you will more than likely take the coat off and put it in the overhead bin when you sit down in your seat.
The next important thing for me is athletic shoes or sneakers. I like to be comfortable on a long flight and you never know if or when you will need to start bolting down the airport to make it to a flight. Wear something comfortable for walking around and standing in the airport.
Do not wear any extra jewelry so that you do not have to take it off during security. I recently used this Forever21 belt bag on my trip to Paris and LOVED it. It was a game changer to be able to access my passport and phone so easily without having to get it out of my bag. It also made it much easier because I did not have pockets with my leggings. I highly recommend it!!
