This past weekend, we drove out of the city of Los Angeles and into a winter wonderland full of snow! It was so magical to experience the cold and play in the snow. I was on a mission to find not only a cozy and warm puffer, but I wanted to find a jacket with a vintage neon vibe. Because why not stand out while playing in the snow?
I got my inspiration for vintage neon from my mom in this picture above. We use to go skiing every year as a family and my mom had the coolest (even though we didn't know it at the time lol) jacket ever! I love the vintage poofer with all things neon to stand out. So I was on a mission to find a jacket just like hers and I did!
If you are local to LA and need some great vintage winter gear, go check out Melrose Trading Post. They have tons of cute neon poof jackets like this one. I would also highly suggest checking out local thrift stores or flea markets in your area. You never know what you might find. And if you are having bad luck finding one, I love these options below.
I had such a blast prancing around following Finley wander through the snow. These duck boots are great for most all "bad" weather conditions from rain and mud to snow! I love them because they have so much versatility and are not just strictly snow boots. Being in LA, I need one shoe that fits all occasions and these duck boots are just that! Layer some cozy socks underneath and you are golden.
