Wedding season (aka Spring, Summer, and Fall) is right around the corner. And if you are like me, the save the dates have been posted on your refrigerator but you still need to decide what to wear. Weddings are a great time to catch up with friends and family and let loose on the dance floor. Patrick and I had a blast at our wedding (pictured above). I have found some amazing options for whatever style the occasion might be. A comfortable yet appropriate look is a must!
Whether the venue is an enchanted garden or a southern plantation, the main factor here is the outdoors. I tend to wear mini or midi lengths that are flowy and breathable. I would suggest a solid color to keep it casual but with the added details of lace, ruffles, or ruching to help you stand out. Throw on some wedges to complete the look! Tip to remember: if this is an outdoor wedding, heels that are not chunky enough might get stuck in grass.
For an evening wedding that is in an urban loft or indoor oasis, I tend to lean more towards longer lengths and unique silhouettes. For night and indoor weddings, I like to break out the sexy and fun heeled sandals (comfortable of course ha!).
Black tie affairs means break out your best look and get all dolled up! This season, try non black dresses since this is a normal go to color for fancy dresses. Also, make sure that you get a dress that could not possibly be similar to the bridesmaids (eek bad fopa). And of course, sleek and strappy heels are the way to go.
