Western inspired pieces has been a big trend pushing its way into fall and winter styles this season. I am not a go all out western style kind of gal but I am loving the subtle details of adding buckles, suede, and fringe to westernize a look. I chose these simple western black booties and they seem to give my fall and winter wardrobe a classic tough without going full on cowgirl.
What better way to be western chic than in the middle of the desert in Joshua Tree. We spent Thanksgiving this year in Joshua Tree (see post here), and it was the perfect inspiration for this look. I chose this Max Studio mock neck sweater in a soft, tan color. It is probably one of the softest sweaters I currently own! It also has the cutest little tie detail on the sides. I paired it with my go-to black jeans from Gap with a raw/fringe hem on the bottom. The fringe hem plays up with the rustic, western Miss Selfridge boots. It has a leather to suede detailing with the cutest little buckle on the side. Very subtle western and can be paired with almost any everyday outfit.
