I had the opportunity to travel to Asia for the first time on a business trip and had about 5 free days to explore Hong Kong. Going to Hong Kong in Springtime was a great option so that the weather was not too hot. Here is what I wore on my free days to see what Hong Kong has to offer! I tried to pack using this color pallet to mix and match options if necessary:
black, cream, blue, dark green, and dusty pink.
I always bring sneakers or comfortable shoes to a city that I know I will be walking around a lot. And Hong Kong is no exception which is why these blush Nike's (last seen here) are a must!. I paired a dusty rose blush top with black denim since the first day was the coolest and rainy. And I never travel without a go to jacket for days if it rains or chilly nights. This jean jacket was very versatile for my trip to Hong Kong.
It still continued to be overcast the next morning as well so I wore dark wash jeans with this feminine ruffle sleeve top. And of course to continue to walk walk walk, these Adidas (last seen here) were perfect! I also had to pop into the office for a half day to work a bit in the morning so this was appropriate as well.
Another half day at the office and the weather was starting to get more humid so lighter layers was a must! I paired this lightweight button down blouse and pleated maxi for an afternoon trip to explore Hong Kong central and Mong Kok night markets.
If you are in Hong Kong, you have to visit Victoria's Peak! This day was the absolute hottest and super humid so I needed the breeziest and coolest clothes that I packed. I love this lightweight flare sleeve top and black denim mini.
Another full day exploring at the top of a mountain and sticking with my color combination I sinched my high waisted green shorts and black large sleeve top. It was quite windy up looking at the Big Buddha so I pulled my hair half back to keep it out of my eyes.
A night out on the town for dinner and desserts in Hong Kong calls for a denim zip skirt and black short sleeve sweater. The weather at nights are still pretty warm in the city. A skirt and loose fitting boxy top is exactly what I need to stay cool.
Stay tuned for another post covering all the sites I saw and experienced in Hong Kong! I cannot wait to share with you everything I did :)
