If you don't already know, I am the laziest at cleaning and I honestly hate it. If something is difficult to get out from under a cabinet or tucked in the back of the closet in a neat little weird fold (you know what I am talking about Tidying Up with Marie Kondo ha!), I refuse to do it and it typically is just put on the sink or if its clothes, thrown over a chair. So recently, I have been trying to organize my life in the most logical and reasonable way possible so I can succeed at being clean because its the first and easiest option. Sharing my tips on beauty product organization and why you should do it too!

In Los Angeles, medicine cabinets seem to be a standard in apartments, which I love! I have honestly never had one until Los Angeles and man have I been missing out. It is the easiest way to display all of your beauty products in an easy to see shelf while being tucked behind a mirror or cabinet door. Highly suggest getting one and mounting in your bathroom!

For taller items like my hair products, texture spray, dry shampoo, lotion, etc, I was also needing a better storage system rather than fishing them out of a basket or bin underneath my sink cabinet. I love this picture ledge that I got from Target because it holds all of my products and makes them easy to reach and put back. Literally a life changer when trying to get ready so fast in the mornings.
Spring is finally here so you can start wearing florals, brighter and softer colors, and enjoy the hopefully warm weather to come! I love transitioning nail polish according to the season and OPI has a great collection for Spring. I am sharing my top 6 picks to try!
Check out OPI's Tokyo Collection here. Comment below with your favorite colors!
If you are like me, sometimes you don't know how you could go without your favorite apps. They keep me organized, help me plan, learn something new, or listen to something magical. Apps are a huge part of my life and I want to share my top picks.
Over the years, I have learned that a good fitting pair of jeans is crucial. I wear jeans like 90% of my time so they need to fit, look good, and be durable. I have narrowed my top jean brands to three that I continue to use over the years. Here's why.
M A D E W E L L
I recently started to love Madewell jeans and cannot get enough of them. I really love their high waist options which I wrote a post about here. They fit well and do not loose shape quickly which is a must! They are also durable, as I have had a pair of boyfriend jeans for years now and they still are not worn.

Another brand that just seems to always have the right fit no matter what style of jeans is Joe's Jeans. I have had so many different styles of Joe's and they always hit every mark. I especially love how their skinny jeans hug tight and hold their shape after multiple days of wear. See my skinny jeans post here. They can be a bit on the pricier side, but I tend to shop at Nordstrom Rack to try and find some good deals.

Gap jeans are high quality with sturdy material. They tend to not have much stretch so they hold shape for dayss and feel sturdy. I like Gap's jeans for an everyday mid rise jean. The only thing to note is that Gap jeans fit different from style to style, but once you find the perfect pair they will last for months if not years. I love these worn wash black jeans with the raw hem from gap shown in this post here.
Valentine's day is 2 weeks away. Are you ready?? Lol I am still brainstorming on what to do so I thought I would help you out too with some great ideas I am finding.

Date night plans.. What to do, where to go, or should you just stay in?? I have been on multiple date nights for Valentines and all have ended up being magical in themselves. The important thing to remember is to not put too much pressure on yourself or the night. Just enjoy moments and memories between you and the person you love. Here are some awesome date ideas with outfit options to go with it:
blanket fort movie night
Make a fort out of blankets to create a cozy haven and rent a rom com movie to watch while ordering in take out. As a sweet valentine's gift, home make his favorite desert.
new restaurant dinner
Is there that new restaurant in town or that place you pass by and always say "Let's go there!"? Book a reservation and go! It is exciting to try a new place together. Bring home his favorite chocolates for a classic valentine's gift.
Pick a challenging recipe and learn how to cook it together. It is always fun learning together and making something homemade. Try contacting his parents or grandparents to get that special family recipe and surprise him with it. You may can even print it out or write it on a recipe card for the future. Such a sweet and thoughtful touch showing you care and want to keep learning about who he is as a person and how he became the man he is today.

A night out (or in) with the girls is sometimes exactly what you need! Just plan a fun event and invite all of your gals for a good time.
drinks & desserts
Pick a fun restaurant with a killer bar to get all dressed up and have fancy, girly drinks and order some of the top picks from the dessert menu. Chat and giggle about all the things happening in your lives to catch up. Prepare a fun toast for the first drink wishing everyone the best happiness and celebrating your friendship.
at home spa night
Buy a bottle of rose, your favorite facial masks, and bring out all of your nail polish for a spa night in with all of your girls. Some easy snacks and candy is all you need to have a fun night in just hanging around and primping yourselves.
romantic comedy movie night
Whether it is going to see the new Rebel Wilson movie "Isn't It Romantic" in theaters or renting an old classic to watch at home, getting everyone together over laughs and popcorn is always a good thing. And keeping it casual makes it easy and lets you have more fun!
Working out can be tough to stick to the routine, but with some of these tips I can help you make it easy! As much as I lovveee going to group classes like pilates, bar, yoga, etc I found that it was hard to commit to taking more than 2 classes a week if that because it seemed to be an "event" that needed planning and time. So more time than not I was not getting a consistent workout in with my busy schedule. So I ended up switching to the gym life and using classes as fun rewards or social hour to go with friends.
Here's my workout routine and go-tos.

I downloaded the appStrongLifts 5x5 and have been loving it so far. They have two workouts that will alternate each time you do the workout. It focuses on squats which not only works out those legs but also helps with butts and core. It then rotates through arm and core/back strengthening. If you complete all of the sets, it will increase your weight by 5 lbs for the next workout to continue to build your muscle and burn that fat.
The biggest tip I can give you is you may notice that my weight numbers at the top appear to be lower compared to what the app starts you at. I adjusted my weight number to be the exact amount of weight I put on the bar rather than be the bar + weights because honestly I have no clue how much the bar actually weighs lol. So for example, if I put my squats at 50 lbs, the I place 25 lbs on each side of the weight. That way I don't have to think about it while working out.
I also use the "notes" section located at the bottom middle for any additional exercises I might want to do. I like to do additional crunches on Workout B day. I started by doing front crunches at 2 sets x 20 reps, side crunch twists at 2 sets x 10 reps per side , and lower abs leg lifts at 2 x 10 reps. I add 5 reps each time I come back and just record the number I did in the notes.

You look good, you feel good! This is so true in everyday life, but even more true in the gym. Working out makes me vulnerable and judgmental to myself and the way I look. So if I have a workout outfit that I know looks good and I can rock, it boosts my confidence to perform better. Try sticking to a simple color pallet when buying workout clothes so you can mix and match easily without having to buy an entire closet. I typically choose blacks, greys, light pinks, and greens when it comes to athletic wear. Also getting the right pair of shoes is essential! I like to shop for Nike tennis shoes at Nordstrom Rack to get the best deals.
Here are my most popular workout posts here, here, and here.

I love playing Workout Pop Hits playlists on Spotify to keep all the good vibes coming my way through my Apple Airpods. It also helps to have accountability with someone by sending funny Instagram image messaging or posting that you are working out. It just feels good to brag, and hey you deserve it for working out to try and get to your goals!
And then at least once or twice a month reward yourself for all of that hard work by going on an outdoor hike, neighborhood bike ride, or that yoga class you've been dying to try.

This past weekend I got to be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding. And besides getting the dress to fit right, I knew I needed the perfect shoes in order to be able to stand all day and bust some moves on the dance floor. So whether you are in a wedding, the bride-to-be, or just a wedding guest, you need comfortable shoes! Here are my tips for finding the perfect wedding shoe.
T H E S H O P P I N G G U I D E
When shopping for the perfect wedding shoe, the key is the heel. I try to look for a low heel under 2 1/2 - 3 inches. Even better if the front of the shoe is "platform" which means that in reality your heel elevation is only an inch or so. So even though it looks like you are wearing heels your feet feel like they are just walking on a flat surface. A game changer!! Secondly, I would opt for a chunkier or block heel. This is great for any outdoor weddings so you don't get stuck in the grass or dirt as well as just creates more stability with movement.
T H E T R Y O N
Now this step is super important that most people forget and can get you in trouble at the actual event. Do not forget to have a try on session in these shoes. I typically put the shoes on at home so they do not get ruined and wear them around the house for at least 30 min to 1 hour. This is critical because if the shoes are to hurt they most likely start hurting or rubbing within the first hour. When trying on your shoes remember to be up moving around not just sitting on the couch for an hour with the shoes on lol. If at any point you feel that the shoes are uncomfortable, then return them and keep looking. Trust me, it will not get any better!! I love these for the bride or bridesmaids, a clean and classic look.
Even though the Golden Globes Red Carpet has some crazy, over-the-top fashion executions, we can still take note to some of the top trends and use it to inspire our everyday wear. Here are some of the top red carpet looks that you can do easily.
Comment below on which one is your favorite look!

Lady Gaga and Gemma Chan went all out dramatic on the red carpet and man did it make a statement!! Think monocromatic looks with gathered materials and poof details.

I have always loved adding subtle feminine touches with fabric choices or the little details. Constance Wu and Kiki Layne went full tulle skirt and structured bodice for the runway. Romantic nudes would be perfect for your next date night or wedding guest outfit.

Be bold with a classic color like red. I love how Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman chose these darker, maroon reds to create these bold looks that pop. Stick with darker reds that have interesting materials like leather, lace, mesh, or velvet to truly stand out.
